The Association of Police Communicators (APComm) represents the hundreds of professional police staff who work in specialist media and corporate communications roles supporting the police service.
Membership of APComm provides access to a network of like-minded people who are striving to improve people’s knowledge and understanding of modern policing, helping them to access police services.

APComm has developed from the former Association of Police Public Relations Officers to be the voice for communicators in the police service and to promote cost-effective communications that deliver value for money by sharing know-how and resources.
Increased collaborative working between police forces will help to bridge the funding gaps from expected communications’ budget cuts. This site aims to promote the good ideas that are happening across the country and that can be shared between members.
Providing peer support and helping to develop the skills and abilities of our members through professional development events are key functions of APComm.
